Janet Harrison
My mother is 87 and during the past 3yrs lost her husband, had both a hip and knee replacement but unfortunately now is wheelchair bound and needs to be hoisted from bed to chair. She has used her alarm on several occasions when she has fallen or needed help.
The alarm has also been a great asset at less serious times but has proved just as invaluable. Sometimes when she falls asleep in the chair she wakes up and is rather confused about time and being on her own, when she has used the alarm she has been reassured by the person on the other end who has then been able to contact one of us.
This may seem insignificant but has meant so much for both mum and us who are so happy to have help at the push of a button and the call centre staff are always so calm, helpful and reassuring which is so important when you are elderly or have elderly relatives, thank you all very much.
